Welcome to the Guilsborough Virtual Learning Environment

This is now fully up and running, new facilities and learning materials will continue to be added.  It is important that all students log on regularly to read announcements.  Homework and other resources will be found under the relevant subject.  Students can use the My Site area to store documents on which they are working.  This makes access from home much easier.  Many staff have already set systems which enable students to submit work directly via the VLE.

The use My Site will evolve considerably over the next few years.  Students will use it store their best pieces of work and other achievements so that it becomes an ‘eportfolio’ they can take with them as they move through their education.

During the course of this year, you will be able to see data on individual student performance in the My Site.  Parents are welcome to visit the VLE using their children’s logon.  Later this year, parents will be given a separate user name enabling them to access information on the VLE and view their children’s performance data.
