Who we are...
We are a group of dedicated parents and staff whose main aim is to raise money to help the school develop new and exciting opportunities for the students across the Academy and curriculum. In the past few years we have raised money to purchase a bouldering wall for the PE dept, electronic equipment for the science dept, lighting for the drama and music dept and school production, Kindles for the LRC, headphones for languages, cameras for Food Technology, photography equipment for the ICT dept, laptops for 6th form, contribution towards new trampolines, heart rate monitors and arranging a visiting author, Stephen Bowkett to name but a few!

We are always excited to welcome new members to grow our PTA and we have 2 types of members
- Full members of the PTA attend 3 meetings a year at Guilsborough Academy and provide refreshments at events including Parents' Evenings, Open Evenings, Academy Productions and Music Concerts
- Friends of the PTA offer their help at these events

Model Constitution
A constitution is an important governing document that sets out the fundamental rules and procedures your committee members must follow when managing your PTA. It’s good practice to adopt a constitution when you start your PTA.
