The Finance, Audit and Risk Committee support the Trust Board in its responsibilities for ensuring that public funds are used efficiently and effectively to support the aims of the Trust and the wider academy community. The Committee also oversees the management of risk, health and safety and monitors the Trust's responsibilities as the employer.

The Standards and Curriculum Committee support the Trust Board in its responsibilities for ensuring the overall effectiveness of the standards and performance within Guilsborough Academy and to consider safeguarding, SEND and equalities implications when undertaking all committee functions.

The Pay Committee support the Trust Board in its role as the employer and for decisions relating to pay in accordance with the approved academy pay policy.
Terms of Reference for Pay Committee
The Trust Board also operates a number of ad hoc committees or panels to deal with issues such as behaviour, suspensions and exclusions, complaints, staff disciplinary and staff appeals. The remit of these committees or panels is set out in statutory guidance or academy policies. Members of ad hoc committees or panels can be selected from any of the trustees, subject to there being no conflict of interest.
Discipline Committees
Discipline Committees include behaviour, suspension and permanent exclusions. Suspension and permanent exclusion committees will be convened in accordance with the current statutory guidance.

Complaints Committees
Complaints Committees will be made up of 2 trustees and a person independent from the management and running of the academy or multi academy trust.
