Our Year 12 A Level PE students headed to the University of Bedfordshire to experience life in a real sports science department.

From hands-on rehab and range of movement testing to analysing force plates and performance data, students explored how biomechanics and statistics are used to measure maximal force and jump height. The day continued with reactive speed testing before finishing with sub-maximal aerobic testing back in the lab.
