Our Year 11 History students enjoyed a fascinating visit to Burghley House in Stamford this week, with the cohort split across three groups visiting from Monday to Wednesday.

The visit provided students with the opportunity to explore the house and bring their classroom learning to life, discovering more about its history, architecture and the people who lived there.

And there was plenty to admire along the way! The stunning ceiling murals were a particular highlight, with some students quite literally lying on the floor to take in the incredible artwork from below!
