We are committed to making sure every SEND student receives the personalised careers guidance they need to make confident decisions about their future. Our enhanced careers offer includes:

🧑‍🏫 Extra 1:1 Careers Meetings

SEND students receive additional, personalised guidance from our Level 6 qualified Careers Adviser to explore interests, strengths, and future pathways.

⏱️ Priority Access to Careers Appointments

Students with SEND are prioritised for careers appointments, ensuring they receive timely guidance when they need it most.

📄 Support During EHCP Meetings & Reviews

Our Careers Adviser can attend EHCP meetings and annual reviews to provide tailored guidance, help set appropriate outcomes, and ensure career planning is integrated into each student’s support plan.

🎓 Additional Help with Post‑16 Applications

We offer extra support to help SEND students apply for Post‑16 options—including colleges, training providers, supported internships, and apprenticeships—ensuring they understand their choices and feel confident about next steps.
