We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated non-teaching Assistant Head of Year who is passionate about the pastoral and academic well-being of young people at Guilsborough Academy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to make a significant contribution to the leadership, management and organisation of a Year group.
The successful candidates will be a key part of the Academy’s Pastoral and Team Around the Year system, working with all stakeholders to support our students’ welfare and academic progress. A successful Assistant Head of Year must combine the task of being caring professional who supports students’ wellbeing with assertively intervening with behaviour issues. The successful candidate must be able to relate to young people and their parents/carers. The role is 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
