We are looking to appoint an experienced Governance Professional and Committee Clerk to join our central team. This role is vital in contributing towards the efficient and effective functioning of the board and its committees. The successful candidate would provide procedural advice and administrative support and have the experience and expertise to deliver first class support to the Trust in this role. 


Applicants must be prepared to work the hours flexibly, with a mixture of remote and face-to-face tasks.


This post might appeal to clerks to governors looking for their next role or career step, an office administrator or PA with excellent communication and organisational skills, who might be looking for a change of direction, or a current governor or trustee with admin skills looking to join the education sector in a paid role.  The trust would be prepared to pay for appropriate training for the right candidate.


There is a school-based administrator who supports this role.
